Beef Stroganoff

You need:
1 Tbsp. dale’s
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp chopped white onion
10 fresh mushrooms
1 Tbsp dry white wine
½ tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. light cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 ½ tsp vegetable oil
1 lb. steak (tenderloin, sirloin, rump), cut into strips 2 x ½ inch
¼ c. sour cream

In saucepan, melt butter and sauté onions and mushrooms for several minutes. Add wine, seasoning, cream of mushroom soup. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate pan heat oil; add meat, salt and pepper. Brown meat quickly on both sides. Remove meat from pan and add to sauce. Do not let meat and sauce boil. Simmer slowly until meat is tender. Add sour cream and mix thoroughly. 4 servings. Serve over rice or noodles.
